# Upcoming Events

> Personal upcoming-events panel.

## Overview

Upcoming Events shows the current user's next few events, pulled from their connected calendars. It is a personal panel. The events shown are scoped to the signed-in user, not the whole workspace.

## Configuration

| Setting           | What it does                                     |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| Event count       | How many events to show. Defaults to 5.          |
| Look-ahead window | How far ahead to look, in hours. Defaults to 24. |

## Use cases

A homepage panel for "what's on your calendar today". A side panel on the Inbox showing the user's next meeting so they can context-switch quickly.
