# Calendar

> View and manage connected calendars, schedule events, and set default meeting providers.

## Overview

Calendar brings your connected calendars into Custral as a single week, day, or month grid. You can create events, drag to reschedule, toggle which calendars are visible, and configure the video provider used for new meetings. Open it from **Calendar** in the app, with provider defaults configured separately under **Settings → Calendar**.

## How it works

Calendars are connected through an email/calendar provider integration. Each connected calendar appears in the left **My Calendars** panel with its own color; clicking a calendar toggles its events on or off the grid. Events are color-coded to match their calendar.

The grid defaults to the **week** view, with **month** and **day** views available from the top-right toolbar. Drag an event to a new time, or resize it, to reschedule. The change is saved back to the source calendar. A small dot on an event indicates meeting recording: red when a recording is active, orange when auto-record will start for that meeting.

Meeting-provider defaults are set in **Calendar Settings**. Each person picks a **Personal Default Meeting Provider**; owners and admins can additionally set a **Workspace Default** for the whole organization. Google Meet is always available; Zoom and Microsoft Teams appear only when those accounts are connected.
