# Connected Accounts

> Connect and manage your own email, calendar, video, and communication accounts.

## Overview

**Connected Accounts** is your personal hub for the third-party accounts *you* connect (email, calendar, video conferencing, and communication), grouped by category. Find it at **Settings → Connected Accounts**. It's the per-user view of your own grants; the workspace-wide provider catalog is [Integrations](/integrations/overview).

## Categories

Accounts are grouped into **Email**, **Calendar**, **Video Conferencing**, **Communication**, and **Others**. Email and Calendar each have a **Connect** button; an empty category shows a "Connect your …" card.

## Connect an account

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose a category">
    Click **Connect Email** / **Connect Calendar**, or pick a provider from the list.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick how">
    **Create a managed inbox** (Email: buy a domain and get a custom mailbox, via [Domains](/comms/deliverability/overview)), or **Connect existing account** to link your Google, Outlook, or other provider.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize">
    For email/calendar you choose what to grant, **Email** (send and receive) and/or **Calendar** (availability and events), then continue to the provider's authorization.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Connecting a **video** account lets Custral generate meeting links and join calls for recording (see [Meeting Assistant](/comms/calendar/meeting-assistant)).

## Manage a connected account

Each connected account's card offers **Channel Settings**, and for email also **Warming**, **Forwarding**, and **Signature** settings, plus **Re-authorize** and **Disconnect**. Disconnecting removes access to that account's mail, calendar, and related data until you reconnect it.

## Troubleshooting

| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check |
| ------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| A provider isn't a one-click connect                          | It needs full setup                              | Connections hands off to the provider's page under [Integrations](/integrations/overview). |
| **Warming / Forwarding / Signature** says "Channel Not Found" | The grant has no email channel yet | Finish connecting the mailbox first. |
| A video app appears only under **Video Conferencing** | Video providers are excluded from Email/Calendar | Expected. Connect it under Video Conferencing. |

<Note>
  When reporting an issue, include the **request id** shown in the error toast. It links the in-app error to the server logs.
