A connector is a remote MCP server that Stella, your AI teammate, can use tools from. The catalog has vetted connectors (Slack, GitHub, Linear, Notion, HubSpot, Attio, Apollo, Stripe). A workspace can also add its own custom connector by URL. The endpoints in this section list connectors and add or remove custom ones. Connecting happens in the app, in Settings → Connectors. OAuth needs a person in a browser, and an API key should not carry another service’s credential.

Attributes

string
A catalog id (slack) or, for a custom connector, a short id starting c-.
string
The name people see, and what / pins it by in Stella (Google Drive → /google-drive).
boolean
true for your workspace’s own MCP server.
string | null
The server’s hostname, for custom connectors. The URL’s path is never returned.
string
oauth (sign in on the provider’s screen), token (an API key) or none.
string
user: each member connects their own account, and Stella sees only what they can. org: one connection, set up by an admin, that everyone shares.
boolean
Whether the key’s member has it connected (theirs, or the workspace’s).
string | null
active, errored (the credential was revoked or a refresh failed; reconnect it), or null when not connected.
boolean
Whether Stella may use the server’s write tools. Each write still asks for approval, and a tool the server marks destructive is never used.

Scopes

Neither scope can be granted to a publishable (pk_) key or an embed token.
