Overview

A presentation theme is a reusable brand kit: a palette, fonts, a logo, and default text styles that decks and templates draw from. Defining themes once keeps every presentation on-brand without restyling each slide by hand.

How it works

Themes are managed at Settings → Presentations → Themes. The list shows each theme’s name, whether it’s the workspace default, a swatch preview of its palette, and a description. A theme exposes these fields:
Six named roles: Primary, Secondary, Accent, Background, Text, and Muted. Each is a colour value used across slide elements and backgrounds.
A list of custom font faces. Each row has a Family, an optional Weight, a Style (normal or italic), and an optional uploaded font File (.woff, .woff2, .ttf, .otf).
An optional image uploaded for the brand. You can upload, replace, or clear it.
Defaults for three text roles: heading, body, and caption: each with a font family, font size, and colour. These fill into elements that don’t set the same field; values authored on an element always win.
A toggle to set the theme as the workspace default.
On save, Custral renders a small preview of the theme and stores it as a thumbnail so picker tiles can show the fonts and colours at a glance. If that preview can’t be generated it’s skipped silently. The theme still saves.

Using it

1

Create a theme

On the Themes screen, click New theme and give it a name.
2

Set the brand kit

Pick your six palette colours, add any custom fonts (optionally uploading a font file), upload a logo, and set default heading/body/caption styles.
3

Make it the default (optional)

Toggle Set as default theme for this workspace, then save.
