Why use a chat agent
A workspace-wide system prompt sets the floor. An agent layers a focused persona on top: a “Product Agent” scoped to the product object answers product questions in the right voice; a “Support Agent” scoped to tickets and the conversation inbox keeps support replies on-brand. The same workspace can host many agents without colliding.Selecting an agent in chat
Pick an agent from the dropdown in the chat header. The choice is remembered for the life of that conversation, so the agent stays consistent as you go. Start a new conversation or switch agents to begin fresh.Scope (focus areas)
When an agent has scoped objects or scoped pages, it’s told to prefer those areas when answering, while still being free to reference other workspace data when the request clearly calls for it.Scope is a soft focus hint, not a hard restriction. The agent is told to prefer the listed objects and pages, but it can still reach other workspace data the user can already see when the request requires it. The agent can never surface anything the user couldn’t already access. Your existing permissions always apply.
