Overview

Modules are curated starter kits for the Custral assistant (⌘I). Each module bundles ready-made agents, commands (skills you run with a /trigger), and rules for a job to be done, so you can go from an empty assistant to a useful one in a click instead of writing each piece by hand. Install a whole kit, or add just the pieces you want.

How it works

  • A module is a bundle of Chat Agents + commands + rules. Custral ships a set of them: Product Team, Retail & Grocery Ops, Sales SDR, Support Triage, and Recruiting.
  • Installing copies the items into your workspace as ordinary, editable rows. It’s a copy, not a live link. Your edits stay yours and don’t change the catalog, and a catalog update never overwrites what you’ve changed.
  • Installing is safe to repeat. Re-installing a module, or adding a piece you already have, never creates duplicates.
  • Once installed, agents appear in the assistant’s agent picker, commands show up when you type / in the composer, and rules apply on every run. You manage or remove them like anything else in Chat Agents and Rules & Skills.
  • Modules vs. Packs: a module is copied in and fully editable; a pack lights up automatically only while its provider is connected and is read-only. Use a module for a starting point you’ll shape; a pack for a connected tool’s built-in helpers.

Using it

1

Open Settings → AI → Modules

The catalog opens on the Modules tab. The Agents, Commands, and Rules tabs browse the same catalog one item at a time, and Packs shows the read-only provider packs.
2

Browse a kit

Click a module card. The panel on the right lists everything it ships, its agents, commands, and rules.
3

Install the kit, or add pieces

Choose Install module to add the whole kit, or Add next to a single agent, command, or rule to bring in just that piece.
4

Use and edit it

Pick an installed agent in the assistant (⌘I), or type / to run an installed command. Edit or remove any installed item in Agents and Rules & Skills. Your changes never affect the catalog.

Troubleshooting

If installing fails, include the request id from the error toast when reporting it. It links the in-app error to the server logs.
