Property agents run in response to one of three trigger types. Manual is mutually exclusive with the automatic triggers. An agent either runs only when you click Run, or runs on one or more automatic events.

How automatic triggers fire

When you create or update a record, every enabled agent on that object whose triggers include that event runs automatically in the background. To avoid loops, an agent is skipped when the very field that triggered the update is its own.

Manual run modes

  • Run on one cell: right-click any cell in a table view and choose Run AI auto-fill. The same menu shows the cell’s past runs (“View AI runs for this cell”), lets you copy the value or a link to the record, open the record, set up an agent on columns that don’t have one yet, or clear the value.
  • Run on one record: fills the property for a single record, from the row menu or the agent panel.
  • Run across many records: runs the fill across a batch of records at once. This is the column-header “Run AI Autofill now” action; for very large views, Custral processes them in batches.
There is no “run across the entire object in one click” mode. Bulk runs always operate on an explicit set of records.
