Recommendations are proactive nudges Custral raises when it notices something worth your attention, a customer going quiet, a conversation aging past its SLA, an inbox piling up. You don’t configure them; they appear automatically as Custral scans your workspace.

Where you’ll see them

Home

The Needs attention feed on your home dashboard interleaves recommendations with your open tasks and conversations, the quick glance.

Tasks panel

A Recommendations section at the top of the Tasks panel, so they sit right where you look for what to do next.

Recommendations inbox

The full, filterable list at /signals. Open it to triage everything in one place.
Each recommendation is deterministic. It fires on a clear condition, never a guess, so it’s always explainable. Today’s types:
Each recommendation carries a severity (low / medium / high) and a short “why” line with the evidence behind it.

Acting on a recommendation

Every row offers one-click actions:
  • Open: jump to the conversation, account, or inbox behind it.
  • Mark done: you’ve handled it; it clears from the list.
  • Snooze: hide it for now; it re-surfaces later.
  • Dismiss: not useful; it won’t come back unless the situation gets materially worse.
  • Helpful: tell us it was a good call (this tunes future recommendations).
Recommendations also heal themselves: once the underlying condition clears (the customer replies, the conversation gets answered), the recommendation the list automatically.

Who gets notified

Each type routes to the right person: a churn nudge goes to the account owner, a conversation SLA breach to its assignee, an overloaded queue to that rep. High-severity recommendations for work you own also send a push notification. Turn those pushes off any time under Settings → Notifications → Recommendations (they’ll still appear in the app; you just won’t be pinged).

Troubleshooting

Recommendations are populated by scheduled scans, hourly for conversation SLAs and inbox backlog, daily for account-health and queue-size checks, so a brand-new workspace (or one that was just enabled) won’t show any until the next scan runs. They also only appear when there’s genuinely something to flag; an empty list often just means you’re on top of things.
No. Recommendations auto-resolve when their condition clears (the account replied, the conversation was answered). If you dismissed one by mistake, it will come back if the situation gets materially worse.
Only high-severity recommendations for work assigned to you push. Check Settings → Notifications → Recommendations is on, and that push notifications are enabled for Custral on your device. Recommendations with no single owner (like an unassigned-inbox backlog) surface in the app but don’t push.
Hit Dismiss (it won’t return unless it worsens), and Helpful on the ones that land. That feedback is what tunes which recommendations you see.

  • Tasks: recommendations live alongside your tasks in the same “needs attention” surfaces.
