Nesting
A folder can hold pages and a level of sub-folders, so you can group related pages a couple of levels deep. Enough to match how a team works without the sidebar turning into a maze:Sales → Deals → Deal ListSuccess → Active clients → Onboarding
Folder nesting is capped at a few levels (a folder, a sub-folder, then pages): deep enough to organize, shallow enough to stay scannable.
Where folders fit
Folders sit in the middle of the navigation hierarchy:Using folders
1
Create a folder
Inside a section (or another folder), add a new folder and give it a clear, short name.
2
Add pages or sub-folders
Place pages directly in the folder, or nest more folders to break a large area into sub-topics.
3
Reorganize anytime
Move pages and folders between containers as your structure evolves.
