A Page is a sidebar entry that opens a Surface (Database View, Dashboard View, Document View, or any custom Page-as-Entity). Pages live inside Sections and Folders; reordering and renaming both work in place.

Personal vs shared pages

  • Personal: visible only to the creator. Used for scratch notes, work-in-progress dashboards.
  • Shared: visible to a Group or to the whole workspace per the page ACL.
The default for a new Page is shared at the Section’s permission level.

Page templates

Workspaces can define Page Templates (pre-built Surfaces with default filters and components) that users can clone when creating a new Page. See Object Templates for a related concept on objects.
