Common properties
“Common” properties are the foundational types nearly every object uses, the handful you reach for first when modelling something new. They cover the most frequent shapes of data: a label, a category, an owner, and a date. There is no separate storage for these; each one belongs to a family on the Properties overview. This page is a shortcut to the types you will use most often.Text
Free-form short text. The default for names and labels.
A validated email address used to match inbound mail to records.
Select
Pick one or many values from a defined option list.
Status
A select with lifecycle ordering and stage semantics.
User
Assign a record to one or many workspace users.
Date
A single timestamp: created, due, or closed.
