Overview

A File property attaches uploaded documents to a record, a signed contract on a deal, a spec on a project, an export on a report. Pick it from General in the property type list.

Configuration

Setting	What it does
Allowed types	MIME patterns the field accepts, such as `application/pdf` or `image/*`. Leave empty to accept any type.
Maximum file size	Cap per file, in MB. Empty means no cap.
Maximum files	How many files the field holds. Empty means unlimited.

What it stores

A reference to each uploaded file. Files are tracked as workspace resources, so they’re counted and manageable alongside everything else you’ve uploaded.

Examples

Contract on a Deal, limited to one PDF.
Attachments on a support ticket, several files of any type.
