Associations - Custral Docs

Overview

The Associations block gathers everything connected to the open record into one tabbed panel: its conversations plus every related-object relation (Contacts on a Company, Deals on a Contact, and so on). Each relation and the conversations get their own tab, so the record’s whole neighborhood is reachable without leaving the page.

Use cases

A Company record: tabs for its Contacts, Deals, and Conversations in one place.
A Contact record: jump between related Deals, Tickets, and the message history.
Any record with several relations you’d otherwise scroll past separately.

Configuration parameters

Param	Type	Description
`objectId`	`object`	The object the block is bound to. Set automatically when placed on a record page.

The tabs are derived from the object’s relation properties and its conversations. There’s nothing else to configure.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	Likely cause	What to check
No tabs appear	The object has no relation properties and no conversations	Add a relation property, or associate conversations with the record.
A related record is missing	It isn’t linked via a relation the object defines	Check the relation property points back to this record.
The Conversations tab is empty	No conversations are associated with this record	Conversations attach by matching contact / email. Confirm the link.
