Timeline - Custral Docs

Overview

The Timeline block is a single chronological feed of everything that has happened on the open record: notes, emails, calls, meetings, property changes, and task activity, newest first. Where History tracks one property and Associations groups related records, Timeline is the “what happened, when” narrative for the whole record.

Use cases

A Deal record: the full activity trail alongside the pipeline stage.
A Contact: catch up on every touchpoint before a call.

Configuration parameters

Param	Type	Description
`objectId`	`object`	The object the block is bound to. Set automatically when placed on a record page.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	Likely cause	What to check
The feed is empty	The record has no logged activity yet	Log a note / call or send an email from Quick Actions.
An expected event is missing	That activity isn’t attributed to this record	Confirm the note / email / call was logged against this record.
