Email templates let you save a subject + body and reuse them across many sends. Templates are scoped to your workspace and can be filtered by the team that owns them.

Personalisation tokens

Templates support property tokens that resolve against the linked record at send time. The available tokens depend on the object the template is associated with, a template tied to the Contacts object can use {{first_name}}, {{email}}, and any custom property on Contacts. If a token cannot be resolved (no linked record, missing property), the literal placeholder is left in the body and the send is held for review.

Where templates appear

  • The compose modal has a Template picker in the toolbar.
  • Sequence steps that send email pull from the same template list.
  • Workflow “send email” actions let you choose a template.
Snippets (short, inline-only reusable fragments) are tracked separately from full templates and live under Templates & Snippets.
