An email snippet is a snippet with a subject. Save a subject and body once, then reuse it across many sends. Email templates became email snippets, so everything you had saved is there.

Personalisation

  • Placeholders bound to the recipient (first name, company, and so on) fill themselves in from the person the email goes to.
  • {{property}} text fills in from the record the email is about, such as {{first_name}} on a contact.
  • Personalize with AI rewrites the email for each recipient before it’s sent, and fills any blank it can.
An automated send never goes out with a blank. If a workflow or sequence step can’t fill a placeholder and AI is off, the step stops and names the placeholder.

Where email snippets appear

  • Type ;shortcut in the compose box to insert one.
  • A workflow or sequence Send Email step can send one.
  • An Email task can start from one.
  • The Chrome extension’s email sheet offers them under “Start from an email snippet”.
Manage them in Settings → Library → Snippets, on the Email tab.
