Overview

Calendar brings your connected calendars into Custral as a single week, day, or month grid. You can create events, drag to reschedule, toggle which calendars are visible, and configure the video provider used for new meetings. Open it from Calendar in the app, with provider defaults configured separately under Settings → Calendar.

How it works

Calendars are connected through an email/calendar provider integration. Each connected calendar appears in the left My Calendars panel with its own color; clicking a calendar toggles its events on or off the grid. Events are color-coded to match their calendar. The grid defaults to the week view, with month and day views available from the top-right toolbar. Drag an event to a new time, or resize it, to reschedule. The change is saved back to the source calendar. A small dot on an event indicates meeting recording: red when a recording is active, orange when auto-record will start for that meeting. Meeting-provider defaults are set in Calendar Settings. Each person picks a Personal Default Meeting Provider; owners and admins can additionally set a Workspace Default for the whole organization. Google Meet is always available; Zoom and Microsoft Teams appear only when those accounts are connected.

Using it

1

Connect a calendar

If My Calendars is empty, choose Connect Account and link a calendar through your provider. Connected calendars appear in the sidebar.
2

Create an event

Click Create Event in the header, or click-and-drag a time range directly on the grid. Fill in the event details and save.
3

Reschedule or open an event

Drag or resize an event to change its time. Click an event to open its full details.
4

Make an event repeat

Use the Repeat control in the event editor to set a daily, weekly, monthly, or custom schedule. See Recurring events.
5

Customize a calendar

Click the gear icon on a calendar row to rename it, change its color, manage sharing and permissions, or disconnect it.
6

Set your meeting provider

Go to Settings → Calendar, choose your Personal Default Meeting Provider, and Save Personal Settings. Owners and admins can also set the Workspace Default.

Troubleshooting

When reporting an issue, include the request id shown in the error toast. It links the in-app error to the server logs.
